WI Mazda Freak
Hey everbody! I'm a wanna be FD owner from the frigid tundra of Wisconsin. I've owned numerous mazdas over the years, most recently my 99 miata dedicated track car, my pride and joy, which I slid into a tire wall at just a shade over 60mph this summer... Needless to say, the miata did not survive, but I did and I'm looking to fulfill a dream of owning a FD to help ease the pain.

"SB", one step at a time, my friend. I can tell you for sure that FD's are not Miatas. It takes a lot more time to develop a rotary engine to do the kinds of tasks you might have in mind although the suspension is 80% of what you want. Take the time to read up on the car and then kick out a thread on what you want to accomplish and get feedback from the 3rdgen guru's on how to get there.
THEN start a classifieds ad stating what you're looking for if you can't find it in the 3rd Gen Vehicles for sale board. Learn first and purchase later. You'll be in a much better spot following that timeline.
And BTW, welcome aboard to RX-7 Club!
