who has 2 thumbs and is a newb *THIS GUY*
Hey guys... I joined this forum a long time ago and never posted up anything apparently... I'm still waiting to get my first "7" I already tried 2 times this week and both were taken *tear* ...so I'm still in search of my first rotor spinning heap of fun... I hope to get to know learn about these cars and the culture that drives it
Hmmm...I'm not sure how to define the culture behind RX-7's and rotaries since it doesn't seem like a clearly defined culture actually does exist. Still, we're glad you re-activated your account instead of just creating a new one!
Sorry to hear about getting beat on the other RX-7's. Read this link so your trip to getting access to our classifieds boards goes smoothly.

I have a question though... There are some guys like me that are "researchers" it may be hard to get my posts up because I usually find the answer to my question whether it be on this forum or off of a search engine... I understand that putting up a post limit filters out anybody that wants to come and post random nonsense but isn't that making it difficult for the others? I'm not saying that I'm not going to try to get my posts up but I thought it was a logical question...
i am also new to this....still learning how to increase my post counts to access more things... what i really wanna know is where is the section for all the rx7 meets in L.A. i really wanna see some other rx7's and learn more about them... Cause in L.A all you really see are a lot of honda's and 240's... so annoyed of them.. lol...
Here's the link for Cally's regional board...rough crowd, so try not to aggravate them.

It's not the random nonsense, we're trying to prevent this site from being used just to unload stuff or come in to buy one part and leave. We're not interested in having those kinds of people join. The main reason the posts restriction exists is to give the Moderating Team time to look at a member and how they are posting. We are always on the look out for the Scammers and the bums who have already been banned for ripping people off and the post count trip up gives us the time to react before they can get to the classifieds boards again.

Cali is a nice region, we're just post ****** so our posts don't count in that section.

Hi Wacky!!!
I'll just say this one last thing. Of all the regional boards we have, the West Forum is the only one I've had to go in and do several thread clean ups because of a reported post that got very abusive. Flame wars do break out there a bunch and I challenge anyone to put them side-by-side with some of the threads in the Lounge and tell me there's any difference in style or attack.
Ooof-dah.
Go read the South Forum. Now, there's a downright friendly place if you exclude RedBaronII.

This thread is a riot. And for the record that thread you're referring to was only because a noob made a death threat against the most well known RX-7 guy in Southern California hahaha.OP, when you do go buy a 7, take Aaron Cake's "what to look for when buying a 7" guide. I'd link you but his website is down right now. I'll send him a PM.
