What would you do?
Hello everyone!
Iv been lurking the forums for quite a while now, and I think i'm "prepared" to buy an Rx-7 now.
I got about $7000( in US$ for the convenience of all the American members ), which im planning to buy the car with, and work on it little by little when i get home from work. the car itself would cost around $5000, as its in good shape and working order. It is a '91 Turbo FC in case anybody wants to know.
Now the dilemma im facing right now is, the car has been resprayed...to a metalic color...
And I live in an area that's not so fond of people that have flashy cars, work to get paid, and make loud noises in the garage. And to add to my headaches, the garage is occupied by my mother's car after she gets home from work, which is mostly 2-3hours after me.
In short, the question I am facing is this:
Buy the FC now, and risk it getting keyed, stolen, etc.
OR
Don't buy now and buy one when I have grown more, to somewhere around 25 years of age.
(Rebuilds and mechanical repairs are not an issue, since I can always take the car into work and bribe the seniors with beer and Bacon and cheese rolls )
Thanks for you inputs!

buy now
I would personally buy man. I am sure you can find a way to work on the car around your mom's schedule and who cares if people in your neighbourhood don't approve of your car. Its your car, not theirs.
