NV welcome question

hey! love the site so far. anyways, to business. im doing some digging on building a t2 motor. a mechanic friend of mine was telling me that he rebuilt his turbo 2 with 8mm apex seals from 3m... ive searched over and over, but i can never find anything regarding seals of that size. is there any truth to this? anyone that sells them?

hey guys, my names jason, and im a noob. lol, serious tho. just got an fc from a friend of mine thats been flooded, parked and previously enjoyed. its got mods on it and its in rough shape electrically. mechanically, it seems straight aside from... well... NOT RUNNING xD. all things in their appointed times though. ive been working on getting the car running for the past month, and so far we've made a little headway. the motor was pretty siezed up, but after breaking a couple wrenches trying to turn over the motor by hand, its spinning clean and free now. compression and vaccum are good, fuel signal is ok, no spark but im working on it. its got a full s5 conversion and its "white" with no interior, except the red seatbelts and sunroof liner (which will soon be plaid). plans for the car are to get her running, get her registered, swap a new lsd read and four pot front brakes back onto her, and learn how to drive a rotary lol. after that ill see whats up. i want a turbo rotary, because its just so devilishly fun of an idea. im not a drifter, not really a racer, and im not much of a driver. i just know what i like and i like to drive. but anyways, thats me, and this is my car. enjoy!
