Hi All -
The new member info says 'Introduce yourself'. Not sure why anyone would care, but here goes.

I'm new to the forum but not new to rotary engine cars. My first was a '76 RX-4 that I bought new. I had it for six years before its premature engine death. After that, I was rotor-less for a while but eventually got an '87 T-II and then an '88 convertible.

The convertible has passed 175,000 miles on the original engine and is still running pretty well most of the time. It's currently down to rehab a leaky fuel injector.

I do most of my own troubleshooting and repair work and have learned a lot of lessons during more than 25 years as a rotary owner. Even so, the forum already has helped me. I hope to return the favor.

Cheers,
Rob in Fillmore, CA

Robby, that was a perfect introduction and of course someone cares about such things. It's our first peek at the people wanting to join the website and man, did you ever make a good impression. I've been playing with the 1stgen cars since the 80's, so it's good to see another "old hand" joining the website.

Thanks for taking the time to create this nice thread, thanks for taking the time to register and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club!

Welcome to the forum Rob! I love doing work on my own car, gives you an appreciation of all the little tricks that Mazda did during the design.

Red face

The freshly rehabbed injectors are due tomorrow. While I have the intake off, I'm doing some other little stuff. Should be back on the road in a few days. Will post some details after.
