Vairon From Northern VA
Hey Everyone,
New member here driving a 2010 Toyota Yaris.
After getting excited from attending car meets in Virginia I started to do very small modifications to my Yaris, you can laugh, to learn the ropes of car modifications. I have really gotten into RX-7s after researching for more complex topics such as turbo charging, engine removal, etc. I specifically got interested in the forums after following Aaron Cake’s Cosmo restoration project on YouTube and finding a link to the forums from his website.
Again, I’m just here to learn more about cars and interact with people that have such amazing cars, not make a 1000 thread about “can I afford x car?”. Hopefully I will be accepted into this community.

There's a lot of good information on this forum. You have to sift through a lot of crap to find it. Aaron Cake is pretty reliable. I also find Satch to be very helpful. There are a few others too. Being older, I think I'm less adept at sifting through all the other stuff to find the helpful information though.
Pardon the humor, but I can't help but recall the episode of American Top Gear where they referred to "Yaris. The Greek god of disappointment.

I'll definitely do lots of reading as I plan on some day doing something more complex to my car. Sadly I don't have a second mode of transportation an that limits what I can do.
