Uk Member with an unhealthy love for CF
Hi my name Scott and i live in the South east of England.
I have owned my FD3s Type R for approximately 7 years. I have been on this forum for a large number of those years but being based in the UK i tend to frequent a Uk based forum for obvious reasons. This is not to say that i dont check in and enjoy the information, threads and buillds further afield
I bought my 1993 FD in a far from stock condition. The exterior had mainly Mazdaspeed goodies which eventually all came off to make way for my own choice in styling. Although it had stock engine and turbos still running sequentially, it did have a number of goodies such as twin spark, v mount etc. I have had a rebuild in my time but have not really spent much time, money or effort in the tuning side of things. This will become more apparant as i divulge my build further
Instead i have focussed more on the interior and exterior of the car, but the main concentraction could be guessed by my username... Im a carbon addict!
I have just this year got my car close to the finish line having bought all that i can for the exterior. My plans became limited with what was available coupled with not so deep pockets over the last few years. I have had to park the car up inside the garage and had to forget about it for 2 of the 7 years of ownership just to be able to keep it! As your be aware we pay high prices for fuel over here, and even more so for high octane gogo juice
Anyway after custom making a number of parts i finally present a picture of how she is looking today. And yes, like all UK images, the sun is NOT shining lol!!
