Trading my 04 STI for a 93 RX7

Im new to the forum and joining because the paperwork is almost done in trading my Subaru Impreza WRX STI for a RX7.

Im a member of a bunch of Subie boards and also own a 06 WRX, so I figured I would need a good RX7 board to learn from.

Hope to gain some knowledge and see you guys around.

PICS:

Do you guys know much about the rims? Ill probably be selling them to recoup some cash. I was told they were Speedline OEM optional Ferarri 355 rims. The interwebs seem to confirm this so far. Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Well, I couldnt make the trade for the RX7 because my bank wanted me to add 1000 cash and I couldnt use spare any cash because Im closing on my first house tomorrow.
I am, however, still going to sell the STI. I really have started to love these cars so I will find me a shell to put in the new 2 car garage that I can start wrenching on.
So, if anyone knows a good 3rd gen shell for cheap, give me a shout ha ha.

Nice set-up on the STi. When I saw the pink shift ****, I knew that one had to be your g/f's.. or your wife's.

Lookin good!

WTF, you couldn't trade in your WRX STi for an 11 year older FD? That doesn't make much sense to me.

Depending on the condition of the FD and the mods/condition to it, they could sell for 15 - 20k. STI's are dirt cheap because there are tons of them, I know my 2003 Subaru(Not an STI, but still) that was 20k from the dealer is only worth around 4500 now.

FD's command a pretty high price if they are lower mileage or a pampered peice. There aren't that many of them that haven't been wrecked, ruined, or bought up by someone who doesn't want to let them go.

Anyway, welcome to the FD world :-) They are fantastic cars, I personally feel that they have much more character than the Subaru, even though both are fantastic vehicles.

Hopefully you can close a deal on an FD sometime soon.. they definitely have much more character than a WRX.

Welcome, it sucks that you weren't able to get that deal. I'm sure if you keep looking you will find something that you will like.
