Hey everyone just picked up my 1988 Rx7. I've had tons of cars and know a good amount on hondas and subarus but not a rotary. This is my first rx7 looking forward to gaining some knowledge and able to work on it. I traded my 07 wrx wagon for it. So here is a few details on the car. It's all stock with 108k miles. I'm looking to building a weekend car I can take out to autoX or on a nice curvy road. The last owner let me know it was a barn find they replaced the passenger door and fender and did a small tune up. I'm guessing the door panels were missing and they installed a custom set and wrapped them. A few issues at the moment I have is the convertible motor went out or us not working, window regulators need to be looked at I have a small oil leak by the oil tube side, and idles a bit high. I'm going to work on fixing all the issues but need some help on here. I'm located on beaverton Oregon so if there is any rotary guys in Oregon I'm open to meet up!
