Time To Dig Out The FD. FL

Hello,
Long time lurker first time poster. Made the account back in 2013 when this 94 touring first came into my possession. This car has been through a lot, I first purchased it when i was 18 as rebuilt titled Florida car. It was quite the project, back then was running an apexi powerfc on an ebay single turbo setup. (2012) Well that lasted almost a year until I ended up loosing the rear coolant seal, car sat for a little until taking it to(2013) Pettit. What a ******* waste of time and money that was, Cam's a nice guy but and all but far past his prime, boy was that place a **** show. They had the car for a little over a year with no contact, they ended up doing a new engine assembly and doing a little body work. 20K later and little to zero contact i had to call them and tell them i'm coming for the car. And wouldn't you have guessed, 2 days, less than 20 miles, had the rear rotor detonate and break apex seals. No shock there to be honest given the experience with Pettit, I called cam up he swears he'll make it right that i should take my engine out up here myself and bring him just the core and he'll get me another, that's where i fucked up being a young kid i took him up on his offer took the engine out myself and brought it back to him. In hindsight i should have towed the car back and thrown the keys at him. 6 months pass, i get a call to come back and get another engine. This point somewhere in 2014-15, i get the engine back from cam and let it sit in the corner for a year. Finally Landon talks me into bringing it over to his house, and we decide the disassemble the "new" engine provided again by Pettit. Well low and behold when we did that Landon found many alarming things, one being that the engine only had the rear rotor and housing replaced. This left a terrible taste in my mouth, at this point were probably a little over 2 years since the last interaction with Pettit, there's no reason to even call them. So I did what any other normal single 20 year old male would do, contacted Chip and started paying him to build the next engine for this thing. (2016) Pick up the engine from Chip bring it back down, boy it sure is shiny. Set it in the corner under some tarps for another 5 years. Which brings us to now, with my fathers passing some things are changing and the cars getting moved again, this time hopefully the last. Taking it down to local performance shop to store and put together the mass of parts that have been collecting during this excursion.

tldr; had car since '12 when i was 18, got treated the typical way an 18 year old gets treated went bad. Fast forward a decade later i'm ready to dump even more money into it.

Well, thanks for sharing! So if I'm not mistaking, the engine is good, just needs to go back in the car? And how did the doors end up coming off? How's the condition of the rest of the car?

Hopefully the engine is good, who knows? That is how the engine currently sits. So far, i've got the turbo, manifold, down pipe and engine. The rest I've got to piece together, will be going with a haltech elite 1500. This is just the beginning i've had the car for a decade and have only been able to drive it a handful of times. It's a long time coming.
