Hello All, I am the proud owner of a 1990 RX7 Convertible (bluberry). This is my second car and I absolutely love it. My wife calls it my metal mistress. I was a member of a forunner Mazda club out of the DC areas so I am glad to reconnect. My Bluberry is primarily a leisure vehicle and garaged most of the time. I only put about 3K miles on it a year, but things are starting to go wrong. I will be asking questions. Thanks for letting me type in.

Well, thanks for reconnecting to the rotary community and registering with the website! Hopefully, you'll only have minor glitches from your new acquisition.

Thank you for the welcome Mario III. I have owned this RX7 for about 7 yrs and I had a black one before that that I owned for 3. Unfortunately, things are starting to go wrong with bluberry. About a week ago while driving home my "add coolant" light suddenly lit and over the next 15-20 minutes while in traffic the car overheated and dumped its coolant. It appears to have come from either a heater hose or the freeze plug(s). It did not boil out of the overflow, top or lower radiator hoses or anything easily visible. Since it is a rotary engine, I can't just take it anywhere. Any ideas before I climb into the motor compartment?
