MD thinking about joining in the rotary fun!

I have reached the point in my life/career where I can start to enjoy a few extra toys. I currently am very lucky to have a couple fun cas already but am looking for something to fill another niche.

In high school (80s) it was all about going fast stop light to stop light. I still have the 1973 Mustang Mach I that I bought when I was 16. Times and interests have changed and it might be time to pass that one on to another caretaker.

I have a 1999 10th Anniversary Miata that I love tooling around the back roads in. I don't think I can ever get rid of that car - just love the perfect balance of handling and power.

However, I have met up with a group of guys that enjoy spirited drives through the country - a little more spirited than the Miata is capable of.

So, I have been looking for something with some more grunt. The 3rd Gen RX-7 has always struck a chord with me. So, here I am putting on my learning cap to see if this would be a good choice to add to the stable. Let the reading begin!

Any thoughts and /or comments are welcome.

Curtis

Coilovers and a jackson racing supercharger for your miata and it'll be a LOT more interesting! That being said, go drive a couple rx7's and see what you think. They are quite fun
