Thanks for the great site

I've been reading this site for a while now and wanted to join. I've had a passion for autos for quit some time now. This site caught my attention due to the FD being on my list of cars to find.

Currently I have a 1995 Mustang, black 5 speed that is a project car for this winter. It was my first car, I purchased when i was 16, now 21, and I just never sold it. My daily is an older Chevrolet Silverado, I keep a low profile in that. I have a 2009 Ninja, also black with black wheels. The newest addition was a 1996 Corvette, also black, with a 6 speed, LT4 motor.

Right now I'm trying to find an FD, I found one on autotrader and am planning on driving to Miami to look at it. I would like to post a link to get your guys' opinion on the car, but am not sure if that's allowed on the site, please let me know if that would be ok to post here.

Since you were doing a great job and this is the intro board, how about finishing up and letting us know your name and why you've got an interest in an FD.

The link so peeps can take a look is OK since you're not trying to sell the car...if it ends up being a car that a member on this Forum is trying to sell, then yea, I'm going to t-bone the link...in the meantime, I'm sure everyone would love to give their opinion...just be ready for them!...

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

Here is the link to the car I'm looking at...

Why I love the FD:

I feel this is a purists' car, it was created with one ideal in mind, comfort, economy, reliablility, practicality seems to have been an after thought, if even a concern. It's a true sports car for the driver who does NOT want to put traction control on and let the computer take care of the driving for him. They are a dying breed, adding to the already low import numbers of them. I love the complexity and rarity they offer, as well as the challenge to keep them on the road and looking pristine.

Anyway that's just a couple of the reasons..don't want to bore anybody with my opinion anymore

...and yer name, NR...?

Clicked the link...it's Autotrader...I wonder if it is somebody on the board. That car has a lot of mods and I can't imagine someone pulling all of that off and NOT being a member of the RX-7 Club. Freakin' steal, is what it is unless the engine's been hammered.
