CA Subie guy here in desperate need for a change.

Hey guys, my names Alex and I currently reside in the South Sacramento/Elk Grove area.

Right now I'm just trying to get out of the subie game. For what I'm looking to do(drifting), and what I want to do with my subie(rally setup) I don't really have the money to do what I'd like to do.

Even before I bought my 06 Impreza WRX, I was looking to pick up a FD, but ended up going with the Subie, but found it to be irritating because I couldn't do what I wanted to do, and I had this needle in my back that kept telling me to get a 7 instead.

Anyways, with all that said. I'm just here to say wsup.

Bump. Looks I'll be trading a family member for a miata to DD/slide (at event's or rainy days) and have extra cash laying around. How many other guys on here are from the sac/eg area?

My buddy just traded his miata for an fc.. havent taken the fc to the track yet but the miata was a great car for drifting. He did an intake/exhaust, springs, some cheap seats and stripped the interior. for what he had into the car, it really surprised me every time i went for a ride in it. and the car was very capable for its intended purpose. we'll have to see how the fc does.

That's great to hear. I'll be getting the miata, and a maxima to do the tune up on them. After that the miata will pretty much be mine.

Wicked. I had a 2002 WRX for 5 years before swapping over to a FD3S Rx7. Although i loved my subie I am in love with my RX7. Besides having to keep a good eye on it to keep it running smooth (which i like anyway).
