MS Steve Biloxi Mississippi 1986 RX7 GXL

I'm Steve, live in Biloxi, Mississippi, a block off the beautiful beaches of the Gulf Coast, am a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel & am the original owner of a 1986 RX-7 GXL Non-Turbo (2nd generation) - bought it from a San Antonio Mazda dealership in January 1987 & I still love, love, love it to this day!!!!!!

Thanks Man!!!!! I actually think I might have been a member of this club like ten years ago!!! Just can't remember exactly. Think I had a question about RX7 pulse dampener fires. Anyhow, I'm a member now & that's what counts. Thanks again!!

My ’86 RX-7 GXL ignition key is wearing out, works in the ignition & passenger side door, but not in the driver side door. It’s the original key & has a four-digit number on it, plus “Mazda”. My question is: are there key places that can use that four digit key number to cut a brand new key, like maybe a Mazda dealership? I already have a key blank that I got off eBay.
