Soon to be Rx7 Owner
I had written an introduction that was, apparently, not approved by the moderators. I can't imagine why...
My name is Ben, I'm in the Air Force. I'm stationed at Scott AFB in southern Illinois. I've been here for almost 5 years, I have about a year left and then I return to the civilian life. I've been all over the Middle East from Kyrgyzstan in the north to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and UAE in the south. I've been to Iraq and Afghanistan and even Pakistan a couple times.
I've owned a Mazda since 2003, a 1991 Mazda 626. In 2006 I bought a Mazda3 (5door), then traded it in for a 2008 CX-7 in 2010.
I plan on FD Rx7 and putting a 20b in it. It is meant to be a daily driver and a track car. I can't wait to get started.

Thanks. For now, I don't have a lot of time. I'm in my final semester of my BAS so that has to finish first. After that I'm working on the job, so we'll have to see where things go from there.
When I do have time I poke around here and there. I've learned a bit about the rotary I didn't know before so I'm satisfied so far with this site.

By the time I have the car I'll be out of the military and moved... But I plan to drive it around for shows and races... I'll be moving away from S. Illinois in about 10 months and I don't expect to actually purchase the car for another year to 18 months. It will all depend on the job immediately following my separation.

I'm in Southern Illinois. I'm station at Scott AFB. I'm not a fan of the area but I can't complain too much. There are worse places in the world I could be.

Oh, I'll be asking a million questions. Normally I'm a googler and am more likely to spend hours on my couch researching something than I am to just ask a question and hope someone answers. I learn better that way.
