Soon to be rotary enthusiast
Hello all,
New to the rotary world, I’m going to be lurking through these forums in an attempt to learn all I can before I dive head first into my search for an RX7.
I’ve dreamed of having an RX7 of my own for many years, but I was always discouraged by people telling me horror stories about the rotary and how it is a terrible purchase.
I’m done being swayed by all of the hate for the rotary and intend on getting one whether it’s a horrible purchase or not.
I’ve just recently acquired the funds I need to begin looking for an FC and intend to create a WTB post as soon as I meet the minimum post requirements and look through the stickies.

Welcome to the forum!
Before I bought my FD, I was convinced I had to V8 swap the car to enjoy it. There's a lot of ignorance out there concerning these engines, and I nearly fell for it. But when I went and saw the car i eventually bought, and heard it it start for the first time, that changed everything.

welcome to the board.
good for you. just keep in mind, horrible purchases do exist. depending on your goals and skill level, there is such a thing. once you find the right car for YOU, all should be well. you will have support from the board, of course, and there are a lot of guys here that know their stuff, ready and willing.
