Hi, I have been a member since 2003 but never have posted until today. Use to own a 79 RX-7 until the engine blew at 179,000 miles. I sold it to someone who had it towed away by his Rotary mechanic in a rotary powered pickup. Needless to say I was hooked. I saved up money and bought a 84 GSL-SE with 129,000 miles in 93. I now have over 255,000 miles with original engine and transmision. Well about two years ago I bought a 96 Nissan 300ZX NA 2+0. I looked at 93-95 RX-7's but couldn't afford a decent one. The 84 RX-7 couldn't pass CA smog and has a bad oil leak from the oil cooler. I still own the RX-7, but I can't afford to fix her up now because I just bought a house and my wife got laid off last November.
