Welcome.

I don't own an FC so I can't be of much help. However, in the FAQ threads stickied in this forum, there is a link to the 2nd gen FAQ thread that should give you a good head start.

Normally aspirated rotaries are pretty rock solid. However, any 20 year old car is going to need some love.

people that don't know the rotary usually don't like it because it's different and they don't know how it works so take what others say with a grain of salt. as long as you keep up on the preventative maintenance and fix issues as soon as they break there's never an issue. best of luck and welcome to the forums!
