i'm so terrible on updating my own thread. haha.

anyways, i snapped some pics of my S5 just now, since some people requested.

Front bumper needs some love. Nothing a new bumper can fix!

When I picked up the car, the drivers side door had that nasty dent. Eventually it's going to be pulled. I intend on repainting the car, since it currently has a 1-day paint job (from previous owner)

Car came equipped with an HKS Hi-Power exhaust (I think it's just the canister with custom piping), but plan on changing it to an RB dual. I'm not too keen on single-exit exhausts on a car that's made for dual.

I picked up some '98 Mustang Cobra wheels from a friend for dirt cheap (car was previously on 15" vert wheels)! The tires are a bit on the "fatty" side (245/45/17), but I plan on downsizing since my front fenders are too close for comfort.

The engine itself only has about 6,000 miles on a rebuild & runs strong. The transmission feels a bit rough, so I'm going to give it some fresh fluid & see if that does the trick. If not, I'll just save up & swap in a T2 trans down the line.

Which reminds me, this car is NOT a T2! It has the T2 aluminum hood, BUT.....I'm currently toying with the idea of making a mounting bracket so I can stick a centrifugal supercharger on this bad boy. Gotta make use of that hood scoop somehow!

Welcome! Very Nice vintage Skylines, I seem them around the blogs. Your Rx7 Looks like it has been well taken care of... It makes me happy to hear ("I'm not too keen on single-exit exhausts on a car that's made for dual") fresh. The Dark side ?? Can someone help me understand what this means" Ahaha thanx

Long time no update!

Finally picked up wheels for the FC...

Tanabe Precedeo (Yes, Tanabe used to make wheels back in the 90's). 16x8 with staggered offsets (not exactly sure on the specs) in a matte bronze finish. The offsets fit perfectly on an FC, so I'm happy!

My current suspension isn't nearly low enough to handle these wheels, so I'm on a desperate hunt for Eibach Ground Control's (for the time being)...so if anyone has some for sale at a good price, let me know! SevenStock is only a few weeks away
