Smooth from Seattle

Hello all have a few JDMs ,Silvia,chaser,ae86 and h have always been interested in rx-7s just never had a good opportunity to own one. I happen to it seems to be a deal of a lifetime of a 1990 FC Gtu in midnight black for a steal outside and interior is in mint condition runs and drives. As I'm still new to rx-7s in general how do you tell if it's one of the (mysterious) 100? Going to see it again on a few days and can post pictures then. Any help in this would appreciated 🙏

The GTUs is an irrelevant rarity, honestly. Don't get hung up with a certain someones clickbait BS about how it's the most rare and desirable FC ever made. It's not.

That said, if it's a clean car best of luck with the purchase.

Thank you both I appreciate it and hung up on it being a supposedly (1/100) not at all. Asking for help from people who appreciate them and are more knowledgeable on this topic absolutely. Now that we've covered that perhaps you'd be able to help explain the confusion of half truths and myths about the car. Is there anyway that you could 100% know if it's the Gtu?
