I agree here for me as well. However, I would like to say, it depends what you are looking for. There is a large group of TII vert owners in Japan that cruise together and they would probably disagree with us.

At that price I'd skip the vert, personally. But I do think you should get an FC!

After some more thought and some car searching, verts are seem cheaper than coups. There are a couple for $7500. This is definitely over priced. Most coups seem to sell in the 10k range and up to 20k for a great T2. 3k seemed ok.

To the OP, don't be afraid to haggle on the price. The condition is pretty poor overall.
If you want to gain some life experience restoring a car, go for it. If not save your money.

I agree with Jeff76 above, don't be afraid to low-ball the price, as mentioned above in a previous post "it's been sitting for ages." Doesn't appear people are standing in line to buy it, and with summer coming to a close, and another season of rain, and ice, in you area isn't going to improve it's condition. The owner may just be happy to be rid of it ,and the reality is you will need every dime you can save on the purchase price to get it safely on the road again. Good luck!

Perhaps, he's now retirement age or whatnot. It does appear that he has fewer now than he did. I'm not trying to keep an enthusiast away but I think you'll have an uphill battle. Like others have said we'll be here for you. And locally, there's a small group of us but we are very loosely affiliated, mostly, just the quarterly cars and coffee.

This is from 2015. It appears there isn't a google drive-by between 2012 and 2015 So they arrived sometime after 2012.
