WA A Short Introduction

Hi guys and gals!

I'm Alex! I'm 1/4 Chinese, 1/4 Filipino, 1/4 Spanish, and 1/4 Irish. I'm 25 this year, which also happens to mark my 10 year anniversary of being in the car scene. I previously was heavily involved in the show scene, and have recently made a transition into the drift scene. I was originally suggested by my friend Matt to come here and read as much information as I could. I started out with Icemark's FAQ and moved to aaroncake's RX-7 website.

I've also just started a YouTube channel shooting videos, tutorials (eventually), and generally trying to promote drift culture in a positive light (I don't approve of hooning, keep it at the track!) Here is a link to my first video titled "#QuitMyJob2Drift - A Documentary - Episode 1" I'm very excited to purchase a new camera soon, so I can work on my film technique and editing technique (and not have to use an iPhone). If you have any recommendations, or advice on how to improve my technique, by all means feel free to comment here or send me a PM! I'm sure there a bunch of film guys on this forum.

I am interested in not only purchasing an FC, but learning as much as I can about the rotary platform. I did learn that the rotary design was originally produced in Germany by Herman Wankel. I hope to return the knowledge that I acquire here back to my local community one day in hopes that I can pay it forward.

I currently daily drive a 1997 Mercedes-Benz W140 S500 with a few mods. I'll list them below the post if anyone is interested. I can also give some advice and maybe a few helpful tips on how to work on them/get parts.

Show's how much I know lmao. But yeah, ok. FELIX not Herman. Maybe Herman was like Felix's brother or something.

I for one will be the first to say the reason that I'm here is that I don't know ****. I WANNA learn, which is why I've spent the last 6 hours digging through threads.
