What's up everybody! Long timer lurker and first time poster.
I'm in the Washington, DC area and have never owned an RX-7, but am hoping to own an FD before they moon in in value and become unobtainable.
Awhile back I almost bought an orange one in VA that had been converted to a convertible, weird right?
I'm primarily looking for a shell but spotted an LS swap in the classifieds I might be interested in.
Anyway, shameless intro/post bump to get access to the PM system / classifieds to hit up member Standing Z.

Stopped in Michigan to visit some buddies.
Love the car so far. There's some things I'm cleaning up on the build and then it's track time!
I've owned/driven some pretty sorted cars, and this one puts them all to shame! The AtomicRex rack, big brake kit, pettit racing coilovers, and massive wing make the car feel so planted.
Will post up a build thread with my journey and more pics soon! Swapping on a slicktop roof next week.
