Sean from SoCal; Trying Again...
Hey, Everyone, I'm introducing myself again. I guess I forgot to mark my location. My name is Sean, and I've got a buddy down the street who recently picked up an FD. I helped him install his bushing kit, and he led me to this forum to get in touch with Fernando from whom I purchased a steering wheel quick release and lock.
I drive a 1973 Datsun 240Z, and I'm looking forward to learning a lot about the famous, Wankel-powered RXs as I continue to help my buddy, Dustin, with the tuning, R&Ring, and rebuilding of his FD. He also let me drive it which is not a frequent occurence among my friends and their most-prized possessions. I must say I loved those sequential turbos and the flat powerband they yielded. And who wouldn't appreciate a soft tail kick-out on a lefter when the turbos breath sufficiently into the engine at 2500 rpm and the LSD applies the effort to all the right places - namely both rear wheels.
I hope to learn a great deal perusing these technical forums and implementing many of the tuning techniques while sorting out my own ride. I'm glad to be here.
