Salutations and Greetings
I used to live in Texas, once upon a time. When I was about 8, I saw the most beautiful car I had ever seen. It was an RX-7.
Growing up, RX-7's were always way more expensive then I had money for. (Granted, I don't think I've ever spent more than $2000 on a car, but on the other hand I've never owed money on a car.) I never really looked for one, but continued to think they looked cool.
Recently, I've started saving towards some things that need doing, and stumbled across an RX-7 for $1500. Well within my average car buying budget. Then I found out this was not that uncommon now!
The problem? They apparently like lots of elbow grease, which is fine, except I don't have a place to work on it. I'm not really sure I care, I've angered landlords (and police) by working on my car before where I shouldn't. >.> Push it from one parking spot to another every 3am or so, and nobody ever thinks to check for an engine.
So now I'm saving money, learning about the guts of RX-7's, and waiting for the perfect RX-7 to cross my path for the amount of money I have saved whenever it happens, since I doubt anybody is going to donate a working RX-7 to my non-existent "Want an RX-7" fund!
And thusly did I end up here!
