RX8 Owner in the Charlotte Area
Sup everyone! I'm Josh.
I live in Fort Mill, SC right outside of Charlotte and drive a (basically stock) Titanium Gray 2004 RX-8 MT. I try to stay as active as possible with our local RX8 club and would love to see some more RX7 action involved as well. I'm in my low 20's and car knowledge is basically infantile but owning a rotary has put the fire in me like a drunk returning to the bottle.
I've been a longtime fan of rotaries(FD in specific), but I love and appreciate all of the various RX7 gens. I come on these forums mainly to lurk, drool, and dream over the various build threads but I'm eager to learn what I can for the sheer fun of it.
It's on my bucket list to own an FD and start a build of my own...
Here's a pic of my baby. <3

Thanks guys.
Yeah mods are in the plans, I'm working on acquiring a job to fund them though.
The Renesis isn't very receptive to FI(although possible, you can't really expect any longevity out of it), and various other mods might give you 15 HP across intake/midpipe/exhaust... which is kinda sad. The car is a joy to drive though and so I'm going to try and focus on improving the already fantastic handling first. Upgraded coilovers, sway bars, better brakes, tires, etc. I think I've had the car long enough now to really get a feel for what needs to be improved.
One day I'll have a 7...
