just bought a stock RX7--needs paint
want to paint it dark metallic copper
18" black rims would be good

dont see 2 many copper cars on the road--it could be ugly
if its not painted correctly

SAw a 300ZX fairlady convertible painted that color and it was tight

18s look awful on these cars, and copper is the least sport color since dark green...I'd say that will be one ugly RX-7. Unless you live in Australia, they actually get down with ugly RX-7s.

 

always thought 18 were bad also, tried them in the past and liked them

 

I like the copper idea with the black rims, all the power to you.

 

The pic flylo posted looks good but I will probably get it bit darker--my uncle has painted cars for decades- lacquer etc
Im going to give him my car in about a month or two.
18"s are the right size anything over 18" looks ghetto

nah dude, 18s are way too big for a car this small. 17s are the right size.

Here's an example of a perfectly beautiful FD with 18s...garbage.



Notice the 4x4like ground clearance. The car had also been lowered 1.5"
