Hello rx7clubm I'm Brett Rybski, a college student, who has been interested in cars, and helped my uncle work on cars since i was 14, noting big, helping him with his Jeep, working on a small tractor, a quad, no major engine work, just minor stuff. When i turned 16, my parents bought me a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am, Automatic, I was pretty happy with this because it was free for me, but 3 years later, i would have rather bought my own cheap manual car. I have been looking at rx-7's for some time now but still don't know all that much about rotary engines. I am about to purchase a rx-7 second generation (FC), but now i have been second guessing it because i am 6'5'' and not sure how well i will fit in an rx-7 i have heard they are pretty small. Can someone please let me know from experience whether or not someone this height can comfortably fit in an FC?

 

Hello I am a new owner of a 82 RX7 and I am 6'3 and very large I also wondered the same thing and let me tell you these cars have maximized the space available inside. I can get in ( Hit my head a few times ) and once in I feel comfortable. All I can say is try it out and I am sure you will be supprized at the room inside.

Seriously being that tall I would go test drive an FC before you buy one.... at the least go to a junk yard and sit in one.
