WA RX-7 Newbie

I just acquired a 1980 (still checking on the year) RX-7 from my son-in-law. The car is in poor shape and he is attempting to make it driveable for me. It needs a clutch, possibly a new/used/rebuilt carburetor, seats and most interior parts, cd/radio, side mirrors, paint job, etc. This will be a car that will be used mostly for 'fun'. Probably less than 5,000 miles/year. If anyone has any advice on what I should do to this car, best place to get parts, etc. let me know. I live in the Seattle area.

Welcome aboard, Sandy, you've come to the right place for information and tons of folk here will be more than happy to give you their opinion on what to do with your rex. You've got to ask yourself this though...and the only reason I mention it is because of your chosen screen name. Do you actually collect cars? Do you work on them? Think of what you want this car for ten years from now and then you'll be able to successfully filter all of the "advice" you're going to get when you repost that question in the New Member tech boards. This isreally the intro section and you've done a good job of telling us how you've amde it to our little corner of the 'Net.

But post a new thread on the "what to do" question and then stand back!
