RX-7 Newbie
Hello,
While I have had my 1988 convertible for several years, it has not been a front burner project. I still am working on 2 other cars, a Triumph Spitfire and a Camaro. I originally bought this car simply to play with a rotary engine, but am now having reservations on tearing this apart. This has to do with a few things: not having built one of them before, and very limited time. I want this car to roll, not sit gathering dust. I am in the Buffalo, NY area and am looking for advice on shops within a day drive that are reputable and capable to perform a full rebuild of the engine. I am not looking for a track car, simply a cruiser that my wife can also take out. I am willing to remove the engine, strap to a pallet and take it to a shop, or ship it if too far. I am simply hoping this forum will have some good advice on the shops that are capable and reputable enough to trust. I thank you all in advance for your assistance, and look forward to updating the group on the progress of this all black car from a long dormant state back to roadworthy life.
Thanks,
Mike
