Hi, my name is John and I have a N/A 1987 RX7, it is my first rotary engine. I normaly go full synthetic Royal Purple oil, and highest octane... Some friends have told me not to do either with this car and I would love for anyone here to explain why? I love this car already and i've owned it for only a day. It is a 5 speed, with header X exhaust, and a K+N air filter, with NGK plugs. I bought a Haynes book yesterday for general information. I am looking for all opinnions on what else can be done to enhance the performance... I would love to boost it, but for now I am looking for all the do's and don'ts for the best performance and life of this car N/A.
