Rotary Noob Here!

Hello all! Just bought my first rotary engine vehicle. A 1991 RX7 Convertible! I have always loved these cars, but from a far. Never thought I would be able to afford one, especially in this good of condition, until a friend made me a deal I could not turn down. Even un-employed I couldn't turn it down!

The one catch is, I have to find out why she was having running issues to begin with. Now sitting for 4 or 5 years is not going to help either. But no sweat! I'm just happy I can say "My 7" now! I can't wait to get her going. Not to mention it's starting to get a bit cold for the bike now.

The only way it could get better is if she was turbo! But that was not offered on US models. That sucks! May be a convertion down the road........Hmmmm. Boost is soooo addictive! Should have used this money to fix my Conquest, but like I said, I could let this get away!

Anyway, take care all & I'll be posting more and hitting you all for advise soon. I'm going to read around for a while first. Take Care & C'yaz

Welcome, i have to agree about the addictiveness of a 7. I have had a lot of cars but this is by far the most badass, and i've only had it for a month.

Be sure to check out 2nd Generation Archives. Guaranteed the answers to your problems are in there. Also, hold onto that 91, it's getting harder to find them these days.

Welcome to the forum, and enjoy yourself.

Well, I sold my Conquest and almost, almost bought a 90 Turbo II ! I'm not buying the TII, right now, becouse it needs work and I figure I better save my money for my 7. I still may buy the TII if he still has it and wants to sell it later. I'm going to miss my turbo!

I'll be sure to check out the 2nd Gen Archives. I have alot of trouble shooting to do.

lisrx - no problem on the posting, or the english, a moderator should be able to help you get it posted where it needs to go. I'll keep an eye out for a front bumper. That is an awsome car in your signature! Is it yours? I not what year bumber you need? Take Care

Frank
