I have always love the rotary engines. In 1976 I bought a broken rx4 and dreamed of fixing. However no money kept it from ever running. In 1979 the rx7 came out and became my dream car. A year ago I came across a 1985 model in a field. I paid 350 and brought it home. It has only 117k miles on it. Now I am starting the restoration. It will be an interesting journey. Tomorrow I will see if I can get it running. I installed a new fuel pump, plugs, cap rotor, wires, and rebuilt the carb. Will it start?😁

 

welcome to the forum. looking forward to the build thread on the 85. done anything to it since u got it a yr ago? post some pix. any history on it?
