Ive been on this site for years and just started recently getting back onto it to see whats new. I have a 93 touring that ran for 2 years and sat for 2 years until I got another motor and transmission put in.
Mods include:
Greddy Airinx intake
Aluminum AST
DP/MP/Blitz Nurspec Catback
Denso Fuel Pump
Pre-programmed Apexi PFC from rx7store.net
Just recently removed the air pump and installed the greddy pulley kit.
There are a lot of dreams i have for this car but for now and the most part it stays hidden in my garage. Ive owned it since 2004 and have put around 20-25k miles on it. I would like to get a front mount intercooler but was wondering if the PFC would have to be re-tuned...i am assuming that the "pre-programmed" doesnt mean much and is probably just the base map. Also, ever since i installed the PFC i have a idle surge, i researched and found out that the idle constrol screw needs to be adjusted so i did that and i still have the same problem (the 4 wires are also cut) Any ideas?
Well thats all for now, i just plan on roaming around again on the site and looking into some other little tinkerings i can do on the car until i get enough money saved up to make it what i want.
