Proud New Owner 1984 RX7 GSL

Thanks for allowing me to join. I'm happy to have been able to save this RX7 from a used car dealer. In-laws were offered $250 as a trade in. I shipped this one owner 64K to Georgia. Audio system is not the best. Right side speakers inop.

Welcome to the board! If the only thing you can complain about is the speakers, then your car is in great shape!

The interior appears to in amazing condition! The leather on the seat still looks new and the carpet appears to have very little fade.

The needles still have an orange tint to them, whereas many have had the needles turn almost a light yellow color. This tells me the car was stored indoors much of its life.

As for the speakers, you may either have a bad amplifier, bad speaker wiring, bad speakers, a bad joystick for the fader or perhaps the contacts need cleaned in the joystick control. All very easy to repair.
