Hello to all,

I am Mark from Garland, TX, and am out to get a "toy" car to play with. This role is currently fulfilled by a 2005 Kawasaki Ninja 250R. However, I am a new dad and motorcycles and babies don't mix. So I am going to sell my Ninja and get a toy sports car to play with, and the 2nd gen RX-7 is at the top of my list.

Right now I have a few leads on possible RX-7s in my area. If nobody minds, I will be using this club to figure out some questions that might arise in my hunt. Thank you for your time.

Hello, Mark! Thanks for registering with the website! Nobody's going to mind being asked questions if it means another person finds and keeps another RX-7 on the road! Your area in particular has a serious RX-7 presence with Rotary Performance of Garland, TX on Buckingham sticking out the furthest! If you don't mind freezing your tail off (and if you aren't a fan of the Dallas Cowboys...man, it hurts just to type that...how can one live in the Metroplex and not be a fan is beyond me.... ), the rotary peeps are having the monthly meet this coming Saturday, the 9th.

Here's the link for more info:

DFW RX-7 Jan 2010 meet (2nd Sat) That day being the 9th...

Me, I got a party and some Dallas Cowboys on a big screen telling me I'm not making the meet this time around.

Welcome aboard!!

Thanks. With a 2 month old home, my time allowed out is limited, and I might be travelling to OK then to pick up an RX-7. I don't know yet, I am in negotiations with the gentleman now.

I may have to hit up Rotary Performance, the car I am looking at is missing it's cat (curses to those Okies and their no inspection state!).

The other thread is released, so we'll soon find out if this is an easy fix. I'm sure glad my rex's don't have to go through the sniffer anymore. They were each pretty close to the max limits on their final sniffer inspections.
