GA picked up my first rx7 yesterday

so i got my first rx7 yesterday. its a 86 n/a but i got it for a good price.im gonna need some advice on building this.im a mechanic by trade so im not a green horn when it comes to cars.car seems to run good but 3rd gear is messed up. so i thinking about just starting out fresh on both but im on a budget with build so any info about coilover packages and rebuilt motors/trans will be a great help.i've been looking for aftermarket parts but there so many. hofefully have pics of car soon before i start tearing it down thanks

Right on. I am still trying to find all the good info on this site. There is a lot out there. You just have to do a lot of digging.

welcome. check out the SE section of the regional forums. depending on what part of ga ur in, u'll find lots of ppl in ur area. especially the OGTA(old guys w/ 12a's) thread. they meet first tues of each month. if it runs good maybe u should consider just getting a good used tranny for now. these guys could probably help locate one. good luck with the car.
