welcome Pettit, one of the oldest names in the biz. i first met Cam Sr at the runoffs in 83. we were both running RX3s.

my Coolcharge IC, easily 10 years aged, continues to perform. during 2020/2021 i ordered 3 intercooler cores to compare as to pressure drop and heat rejection. the Coolcharge beat all 3. further, i run your Trak-Pro coil overs. having owned a shock dyno and raced for 22 seasons i have a great appreciation for suspension dynamics and do love them.

continued wishes to all at Pettit.

Welcome Pettit! I also have the Coolcharge 3 system and think it works really well. Howard, what IC's did you test? Were they all similar in size? If the Pettit IC itself is that good, how do we go about getting just the core? Will you disclose what core it is?

Just replacing the stock intercooler with the Coolcharge lll gained me 42 whp. Same dyno, similar temperature conditions, similar boost levels( both using the same stock wastegate spring).

I wonder if there would be any drawbacks to making the intercooler 1.5" shorter in length. Currently, the duct does not fully cover the intercooler so you get radiator air blowing on the end tank and part of the core.

Additionally, I added a duct extender to the front of the Coolcharge piece and saw additional cooling capabilities, approx 10 degrees at 40 mph cruise, 15 degrees at 70 mph cruise. Can't speak to what it does under boost.

Maybe a Coolcharge 4 will be coming sometime in the future

Wow 42hp!? Thats an impressive restriction from the stock duct. We will be trying this with an re-a smic.... for science. Back to back runs on the dynapack, stock smic vs re-a

I'm confused as to why is Pettit introducing themselves here? HI PETTIT!!!
Aren't them long established and known, like Beauty and the Beast, "tale as old as time" ?
It's like having new introductions from Mazdaspeed, Racing Beat, Mazdatrix, REAmemiya, etc, you get the idea... 🤔🤔
I mean welcome! I guess 😂
