Passion about cars
so im 18 and my first project car is my 1986gxl. ive never worked on cars prior to this. so im learning as i go but theres just so much i dont know but i want to learn as much as possible. my dads supposed to be helping me, hes a welder and knows a decent amount about car parts etc. but he doesn't know much about rotaries. i probably know more than he does know just by going on here and looking stuff up. back in id say the late 90s when i was young he had a Porsche 911, a viper, and a ducatti. then him and my mom got divorced and hes kinda gown down hill from that. i can put up pics of the cars if anyone's interested lol. he hasn't been of much help lately due to work and other family issues. and sometimes it seems like im all on my own for this build. theres just some type of feeling i get of satisfaction when i restore or fix something on this. like i was able to clean the engine bay and clean the interior and change that from navy to black. just something simple like that, that i was able to do myself feels good. so basically what id like to hear from you guys is, whats your story? how did you get your knowledge for cars/rotaries? and what sparked your passion etc?

You're not on your own with us around. Any questions about the 7 and I'm sure you'll find your answer here.
Congrats on the car, welcome to the club,, and hell yea post up a pic of the 911, and maybe the Ducati too.
My story (short version) goes like this:
My step mom had an FC back in the day. She and my dad went out of town and I stole her car for the weekend. That was the end. I've been addicted to rotary engines ever since.
