OZ RX7 Racer
Based in Sydney Australia with a 29 year history of racing rotary powered cars, i have run the Nurburgring 24h twice with my own RX7 in 07/08 finishing well. have competed 7 times there now. Also Sepang 12 hr and here the Bathurst 12 hr races and 24 hr races.
i am the owner of a work shop specialising in Rotary engines and race cars.
I'm a born racer and drive anything with wheels but love my rotor powered cars.
i do the Targa Tasmania tarmac rally every year and have 3 wins in early moden class with the RX7.
would like to go to the USA and race with a team in the future, i'm about to do the Barcelona 24 hr in Sept this year.
Youtube "Ric Shaw" shows some incar from Nurburg and Targa.

This guy CAN DRIVE. Highly respected in Australia. Has driven V8 Supercar at our legendary race the Bathurst 1000. Raced factory Aston Martin in 24 Hr Nurburgring race and reced his own FD 3 times at the 24 hour. Gets his hands dirty and is a top bloke to boot.
Here is a video of him driving my car well under the Porsche GT2 lap record on old worn out tyres:

He is unbelievable through traffic:

The little blue and white car is a Yamaha F Racer driven by State Champion, Red hatch is legendary A9X with LS3 and 8 throttle bodies driven by National Sports Car Champion, the old green and yellow car is a Group C Commodore, the two MX5s are fastest 2 in Australia and the R32 GTR has 650HP. The Lotus was also overtaken on first lap and it is top level GT3 spec with 6 speed sequential driven bya top level International driver.
Ric is brilliant with rotary engines. Anyone who can get a race rotary turbo to last 24 hours at Nurburgring has my respect.
There should be a video of Ric at Targa Tasmania making up the 60 seconds and catching a pro level Lambo driven by a National level race driver. Its awesome but I cannot find the link.
Here is one overtaking the amazing Skelta driven by the international driver Nick Faure -worth a google

Obviously the navigator respects Ric's driving. Listen to the navigator's advice to this former BTCC and former factory Porsche driver when he says "listen to me mate" and "where he is now" and "let him go through on this one" and "let him go - you are better off behind him" and a chuckle at 7.18 when the red car gets a bit close and Ric uses ALL the road and some rocks (accidently
) get thrown up

Ric can drive and build rotary engines and is an expert at FD setup. Any aussie who does not use his reasonably priced skills is nuts.
Ric will be racing a V8 Supercar in Spain next week at the Barcelona 24 hour.
