Owner of many mazdas
Hello,
My name is mason and for my entire life there has been at least one running rotary powered vehicle in my driveway. My dad bought one new in 1981 and it is still in perfect condition. I drive an RX8 and so does my dad, but in addition to his FB we have an FC with a V8 as well as 3 parts FB's.
I basically split time between the FB and my RX8, it really helps me to appreciate the things that make each of those cars great. The RX8 is so refined and smooth that you feel like your sealed inside a space capsule. That's nice for luxury, but honestly i prefer the raw and unrefined feel of the FB. You can smell the fuel and really feel and hear the road.
The FB has headers, a ram air intake we made, a bolt in roll cage body kit, wheels and we installed the rear axle from a GSL-SE. My rx8 is stock other than tein lowering springs until my engine warranty runs out.
Currently, I am researching a TII swap into one of our parts FBs. This seems like it would be a rewarding combination, and I would like to install the front and rear subframes/suspension from an FC as well. I feel that the best part of owning a car is doing the work yourself and I want to get more work under my belt.

Here's a couple pictures, I'll post some even better ones I have as well. My rx8 is the silver one, my dad's is white. The fc has a v8...
I love the fb from the rear...that's the best angle off of all those cars...
