FL Owner of 2 FC's

Hey guys, my name is Zach. I live in Panama City, FL and have 2 convertible Rx7's. My first one was a 1988 with 180k it was a great car and I was going to do a T2 swap in mine like my friend did in his but then I found a 91 for 2k for sell with 71k and ended up buying that one because of the low miles instead of the T2 swap. I plan on selling the 88 but with the 91 Im not sure yet. Im either going to do the T2 swap or go to the extreme and do a 20b swap.

Well I have decided that I am going to keep both cars. I am going to use the 91 as the DD while I get my feet wet with the 88 doing a T2 jdm swap. I have done a good bit of reading on this site about doing T2 swaps in the FC's. I have my game plan typed up on my computer based on what one write up said what to do/he did. I plan on by next winter to be in the tuning stages and hopefully by spring 2014 to be road ready. My goal is going be a long shot, with a 13bT2, .is for ~300wtq. I am still a bit uncertain as far as porting goes what I want to do. This car wont be a DD anymore. I would like to hear the brap brap brap of a bridgeport but not sure if I want to go that far in to modding the internals.

Now my questions for you guys are: If you have any insight from exp from doing this swap, what was some of the problems you ran in to as far as just getting the car running. Would anyone recommend a jdm site that really does compression check the engine, preferably without the check valve. Finally for anyone with a turbo FC pushing 300wtq, you mind posting your setup with what mods you did to obtain this or sending me a message.

Thanks guys!
