Sorry. It is a 1988. I posted a story under a different thread after I read more posts on here. I had two different friends with first gens, they where both ratty cars but they where so much fun.

For whatever reason, it's just really hard to find 1stgens that are even the same color on all the body panels. We're a real cheap crowd and have to scrounge up and justify every $$$ spent on our rexes.

Given my budget, sounds like I should be a first gen owner. My fc is all the same color but it does not look good. It had one of those Maaco paint jobs and now its faded. Also they painted the rubber molding. I have been practicing my painting though and when I work up the cash, courage and motivation I will make it look better.
