CA o hai new member

Hello, my name is Daniel. I just acquired a dead 88 GXL, so during the build i've decided to join RX7club.com. I'm a mazda tech at a dealership, so I have experience with RX-8's, although I don't work with a lot of FC's or FD's. I'm a Miata owner, so this RX-7 was a nice addition to my Mazda collection. Thanks for welcoming me

it's a GXL with a TurboII motor inside. #2 rotor has no compression. Planning to overhaul the engine, but saving up to buy the seals. I bought the car last november but i still haven't started on it... -_-

Thanks for registering and welcome aboard, Daniel...the link in the sig is a hoot...as far as not working on the car, it seems that whenever a passion or hobby becomes your job, it sometimes just drains the fun right out of it.

Sadly, yes it does -_-. I've been working in independent garages for many years, but working at dealerships changed things up a little bit for me. At the end of the day I just want to go home or have a drink, and the last thing I want to do is touch any of my cars. I still love my hobby and always have plans, its just executing what i want to do is a little tough. I finally joined this forum and am more inspired to get my lazy butt working on my FC ^_^
