Well I bought an NA 88 burgandy rx7 from a rotory performance shop that I work next to. The guy had no parking spaces left and he kept whining about not having any space to take in new cars. So I offered him 500 for the car cuz he told me he wanted to get rid of it to get the space. Even after I bought the car he still had to look at it for a couple of months cuz I just drove it from his shops parking space to my shops parking spaces which are next to his.

The car ran great and passed smog no problem and that is AFTER i took out the 2 precats. I am a smog technician so even though it passed on its own I wasn't worried about it if it wouldn't.

I let the car sit for a couple of months as I was still driving a GREAT conditioned 89 240sx. Perfect in and out the paint and clear coat were still shiny 2 tone pistacio green/silver (initial d fans know what I am talking about) only about 100k on the car and motor. Well one night up on one of the mountain passes that I frequently raced on (4-5 times a week) I got a case of drunkin understeer (I was really drunk) and hit the side of a mountain and screwed up the front end pretty bad.

So I started driving the 88 Fc around. and WOW. I love this car. A year later, it now has suspension, lsd, exhaust, and rims. HANDS DOWN IT IS A BETTER CAR THAN AN S13.
