NY noob with a project car

watsup everyone

so i just bought an 88 se rx7 as my project car. its part of a summer project where me and my closest friends (so, 4 of us) each buying our own project cars for us to work on so that one day we can all cruise together on the highway lol. so far my friend was the first to buy his car...87 MKIII Supra. i'm the second with my Rx7. and my other two friends are on the quest to buying their cars. got one friend in the navy to get money to buy his Rx8. and my other friends working, savin up money searching for a 240sx.) ne ways i joined rx7club because im completely new to rotarys. figured the best way to finish this project car is to seek guidance/advice/tips/help and learn from fellow rx7 owners. (seems like everyone here is knowledgeable and mature). it my personal dream to show up to my friend's(the one with the supra) anti-rotary shop and show up with a nice clean, fast, nice sounding, sleeper rx7. hopefully one day i can contribute something here and give back to this community

Welcome! Your attitude will make you a valuable member of this community. Good luck with your ride and become intimately familiar with the ability to search this forum and the archives. Everything you need to know is available here. You will also need to learn to sift the good from the bad information, and while the post count matters to a certain extent, you'll soon learn how much it does or doesn't matter as you research past threads.
