SUP ya'll.
Picked up my 93 RX7 in November before we got snow and salty roads in Buffalo NY.Runs and drives but there's some work cut out for me that's for sure.
Happy to be here and looking to learn what I can to keep my FD alive.

So far just to piece it back together. That is becoming a task within itself trying to find parts. I have interior panels, exterior wiper cowl, and wiper arms that need to be installed and I am having a hell of a time finding the fasteners for them. I would love to be able to get it back to factory bumpers and have the molded side skirts removed, but I don't think I'll bother. (Everything just seems so hard to find)
I have ESR CS1 wheels.
Looking into Fortune Auto or BCR coil overs.
I have a Miata Nardi wheel that I snagged localy for $25 (not in the best shape, but better than the factory FD wheel)
I also have to find where I'm losing pressure in the brakes.
basically little bits and pieces to get it road worthy and then drive it while I consider a restoration by a shop, or go LRB interior, new motor, and single turbo conversion.
If all else fails then I guess I follow my buddies footsteps and rollcage with an LS. I guess it depends on how much patience I have to find the parts I need/want.

The body clips are likely still available from Mazda. Mazda likely used the same clips over the years for many applications and that should help as far as availability. Sometimes however, some body clips are only available with the plastic panel they are attached to. This can be frustrating and can force your hand to buy a new part or to hunt the clips down from someone parting a car out.
You may want to stop in at a dealership and speak with the part department. They will likely need your VIN so be prepared with that. They will be able to tell you how they are sold, the quantity needed and the availability.
