I just joined but I have much experience with RX-7s. I used to race one with NASA in the 90's. My team and I have just bought an 84 GSL-SE for use in LeMons racing. It is not running now but hope to have it up and running soon.,then onto the safety gear install. I have no experience with the 13b but I hope the extra hp will help.
The body of the car is okay but the interior is trashed which is fine since we are going to strip it anyway. We also have to think of a theme for the car too. Well that's it for now.

I can't check the race section yet as I don't have enough posts yet. But I will soon.
As for Lemons: The car itself cannot cost more that $500. Exceptions are safety equipment which is free from restriction ( Includes ( Seat, belts, roll cage, brakes, tires and wheels). To enter a race it runs $500 + $100 for each driver ( 4 required) and $75 for each crew member.
Right not we are figuring the car will run about $2500 to get set (prior to decoration for a theme). Of course all these expenses are split up between the team.
