"Newly" purchased JDM RHD Efini
I have finally been able to get on to be able to post a few pics and tell a little about my new ride.
Must admit that I know very little and am interested in learning a lot about RX7's. I must also admit that after having this car for about 7 months I am addicted to it. “Hi, my name is Michael and I am an RX7 addict.”
This is an Efini Right Hand Drive from Japan, but don’t tell anyone. (If anyone asks it’s a conversion on a 93 touring edition). It came with lowering springs, upgraded cooling system, air box delete, and exhaust work.
So far I've been able to add my own touches by installing some clean rims and tires (not the ones in these pics but similar). I put 18x8 in the front and 19x9.5 in the back. Loving this look. I’ve also redone the interior. Although a true JDM seat may be cool, but it was extremely uncomfortable. So I installed a set of barely used RX8 seats from a 2008. Funny thing about my car, is that “my passenger” has all the power features and I have the basic seat. LOL! Then, I shined up all the dash pieces with some black paint and replaced the steering wheel. I don’t think a car like this should be without sound, so I installed a Pioneer touch screen and had a custom set up built for the back. I don’t need grocery space as I have an Excursion for that.
That’s where I am today. I have a few other things in the planning stages and will try to keep uploading on here.
Thanks and I feel great being part of the group.
P.S. I apologize if I don’t get on here very often, yet!
